RIVER WALTZ by Dieter Carlton
As dawn would break across the plains
We'd wake and briskly shake our manes.
For exercise we'd run a abit.
That's how indeed we stay so fit.
We wandered aimless everywhere,
And grazed upon the grasses there.
And soon we found our favorite place,
A river there and lots of space.
So there along the river bank,
The water clear and cool we drank.
Content and now, despite our faults
We paused to dance our RIVER WALTZ.
