It's dawn and in the morning sky
A mass of clouds go passing by

And as they do their shadows race
Across the rugged mountain face

While in the light revealed so bold
The mountain rocks like precious gold

Reflect a shiny yellow sheen
The likes of which so rarely seen

And from among these gilded stones
She wakes to scan the land she owns

In search of prey she reads the signs
The eagle there ABOVE THE PINES
