At early dawn we woke to see
What came last night so quietly
It glistened o'er the land so bright
A cold and silky sheet of white
And 'though it tempts us more to snooze
We rose instead, no time to lose
It's clear what we must do this day
What else but in the snow to play
So off we dashed from hill to hill
To race AGAINST THE WINTER CHILL
