The agile and highly maneuverable U.S. Navy F-14 "Tomcat" was considered the ultimate solution against the feared MiG fighter jets during the Vietnam War. Manufactured by Grumman, the F-14 "Tomcat" far exceeded the capabilities of its General Dynamics competitor, the F-111, in particular for its remarkable maneuverability and carrier landing capability at very slow speeds. I hope you enjoy my painting of this remarkable aircraft.
