My day at work seemed extra long
Perhaps I'll play my favorite song

But what I really need address
Is time away from all the stress

And what was well within my reach
A quiet day along the beach

So off I went to clear my mind
By leaving all my toils behind

For days I breathed the salty air
And cleared my mind while I was there

So this is what it's all about
The times when we can mellow out

The times that stress should not dismiss

Dieter Carlton is a well-known American artist whose works have won numerous top awards in top-rated art shows and venues throughout the U.S., as well as world-wide web art contests. He is also an award-winning cartoonist and has appeared in many popular artist publications. Carlton is particularly recognized for his detailed knowledge of structural elements and the many scientific aspects of art and is called upon to perform lecture tours on this highly esoteric subject.
