A poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
Beneath a cold and angry sky
A flock of hungry seagulls fly
Above the choppy waters there
In search of what the sea would share
Their squawks no match against the roar
Of waves against the rocky shore
And high atop the rugged coast
Much like a guard at rigid post
Its beacon shining ever bright
To put the day into the night
So if the ships should sail astray
They'll see a CANDLE IN THE FRAY
