Description
CLASH OF PRESENCE by Dieter Carlton
a poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
For everything there is a place
Especially for the human race
A place where we could make our home
With lots of space in which to roam
A place where little children play
And bring us joy throughout each day
But what if in this place we found
Some other's litter all around
The place were we would sleep and eat
With mounds of trash around our feet
Of course we would not live like this
So why should we be all too bliss
When all around us living things
Must wade through what our nature brings
Like fish that swim beneath a pier
With soda cans and bottled beer
Let's not yield to acquiescence
Lest there be a CLASH OF PRESENCE
This work was produced using Maya, DAZ Studio and Bryce. As with all of Dieter's digital art, this is not a photograph, there are no photographs embedded within the image nor were any photographs used in creating it. It is also NOT a screen shot nor was it derived from any other sources such as video games or studio animations. It is a wholly original work created exclusively in a virtual space on a personal computer (like forming a clay sculpture or building a studio set in one's backyard or garage). Each such work takes 30 to 50 hours to complete.
