Artist's Description
FAMILY MATTERS by Dieter Carlton
a poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
FAMILY MATTERS above oneself
Through thick and thin one must not shelf

Alone perhaps we may survive
But would we really feel alive
Yet with a family we could share
Our thoughts, our things, our loving care
Our many strengths and faults as well
And to each other stories tell
But now it's not an easy life
A blend of joy and family strife
Much like a job without the pay
That makes us want to run away
But as glass when dropped it shatters
When we run from FAMILY MATTERS
