Description
FIRST INTERLUDE by Dieter Carlton
a poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
Much like a whisper in the night
A gentle breeze would take to flight
Across a mountain valley deep
While creatures all were still asleep
If not but what the winds would stir
A sound soft as a kitten's purr
That life prevailed one could not know
Save for the grass, the trees below
The silence like a solemn wake
The stillness like an icey lake
And then atop a grassy knoll
From where it now could see it all
A mighty cougar would obtrude
To mark the day's FIRST INTERLUDE
