I stood atop a mountain high
In bitter cold I can't deny
While there I saw the world so grand
A rugged, pure, enchanted land
This was perhaps where giants dwelled
A fortress they like great knights held
Indeed each jagged mountain peak
Like crowns around a castle keep
Could break apart a mighty storm
Which high above it casts its form
And trees like armies stand at ease
