Description
LAMP OF THE FISHER by Dieter Carlton
A poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
For months we braved the rugged sea
But home is where we long to be
We turned the bow and made our way
To home with hopes our catch would pay
Because our holds were laded high
Our chances we could not deny
The thrashing sea became so rough
One mighty wave would be enough
But then we saw a breaking light
Which through the clouds appeared so bright
And soon the shores of home appear
The lighthouse there would calm our fear
From the danger she would usher
A shining LAMP OF THE FISHER
