As frigid as it all may be
It really is a sight to see
With endless fields of brilliant white
That glisten even through the night
The trees once full and lustrous green
Now speckled in a silver sheen
The waters once in steady flow
Now but a sheet of ice and snow
But in my cabin cozy there
By the fire and in my chair
Enjoying now a cup of soup
And With my family in a group
In blankets wrapped from head to toes

Dieter Carlton is a well-known American artist whose works have won numerous top awards in top-rated art shows and venues throughout the U.S., as well as world-wide web art contests. He is also an award-winning cartoonist and has appeared in many popular artist publications.
