Swiftly, quietly passing through
The hunter guides his sleek canoe
He cuts the early morning fog
And scampers turtles on a log
Then thrashes wakes against the shore
With graceful strokes of trusty oar
And all around him birds would fly
As his canoe would pass them by
A fishing cane and ample bait
A bow and arrows very straight
Jerky beef and sippin' cider
