He rode the plains both night and day
As mountains far would guide his way.
And though the ride seemed all too long
His horse endured, she's very strong.
He later reached the foothills there,
The waters clear, so crisp the air.
And clouds the jagged peaks embrace
As sunlight cast a gilded face.
Shaped as if by a mighty hand
This, indeed THE PASSIONATE LAND.
