This morning marked another day
And many more along the way

In Conestoga's, very slow
Across a land we did not know

The trails we had to cut anew
And sometimes we could not get through

But long he searched to find a trail
Our scout, relentless would not fail

Then as we'd move through new frontiers
Our scout would always calm our fears

So rough sometimes on wagon wheels
We'd put the ground beneath our heels

And walk with very little doubt
He'll get us home, THE RESTLESS SCOUT
