Much as a music symphony
To all our ears its tones can be

So too, the eyes can marvel now
The brilliant color chorus how

As summer yields to cooler days
Across the land in bold displays

The leaves of yellow, orange and red
Bespeak of cozy days ahead

Indeed a palette of delight
Changing every day and night

So many colors one and all

Dieter Carlton is a well-known American artist whose works have won numerous top awards in top-rated art shows and venues throughout the U.S., as well as world-wide web art contests.
