Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Among the most controversial cultures of ancient Europe was a fierce society of explorers, warriors, merchants and pirates known as the Vikings. Often called Northmen or Norsemen, these tribes have been erroneously considered brutal savages who permeated Europe through merciless invasions and pillages. On the contrary, however, the Vikings were great explorers, traders and merchant marines, who, although fierce and fearless in battle, were an otherwise gentle and honorable culture. As a result of their courageous water explorations and uncanny navigation skills, the Vikings discovered and mapped most of the North Atlantic and brought many important discoveries to the rest of the world, most notably, their extraordinary ship-building skills. The Vikings believed in mythological gods ruled by their leader, Odin, and that when they died honorably in battle would be transcended to a majestic world within the kingdom of Asgard--a place called Valhalla.
