The clouds that gather in the sky
And snow atop the mountains high

The trees along the mountain slopes
A come to pass of all our hopes

A field of daisies 'round our feet
A butterfly, the chance to meet

Across a pond, a gentle breeze
And how it makes us feel at ease

The way the sun would cast its light
As morning skies relieve the night

From those we love, a warm embrace
From all we meet, a smiling face

The memories of happy days
And how these help remove the frays

Life about in blissful chatter

Dieter Carlton is a well-known American artist whose works have won numerous top awards in top-rated art shows and venues throughout the U.S., as well as world-wide web art contests. He is also an award-winning cartoonist and has appeared in many popular artist publications. Carlton is particularly recognized for his detailed knowledge of structural elements and the many scientific aspects of art and is called upon to perform lecture tours on this highly esoteric subject.
