Where cows would graze in blissful strides
Content the winds have cooled their hides
Where endless fields of pasture grass
Would sway against the winds en masse
On rolling hills in moving waves
Much like the way a sea behaves
A rugged fence and tiny creek
And birds about for what seek

Dieter Carlton is a well-known American artist whose works have won numerous top awards in top-rated art shows and venues throughout the U.S., as well as world-wide web art contests.
