Artist's Description
WHEN THE ROOSTER CROWS by Dieter Carlton
A poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...

Before the morning dew would dry

Before the night would take its bows
We'd feed the chickens, milk the cows
Before we'd see the light of day
We'd shovel several bails of hay
Before we'd have our breakfast meal
A moment for our thanks we'd steal
It's what each day would predispose
