Artist's Description
FROM A DISTANT TIME by Dieter Carlton
... a poem for which the artist wrote as follows:
With cell phone and a smart TV
A hybrid car and fast PC

And sounds recorded reel to reel
When matenee movies were a thrill
And play outdoors the day would fill
When folks would chat, but face to face
And life moved at a slower pace
When soda pops were just a dime
Scant echoes FROM A DISTANT TIME
