A poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
As if a kindred love he would
Caress it gently where it stood
Then mount it with exploded pride
To take it for a thrilling ride
A spitting roar its engine gave
And soon the road its wheels would pave
As if he thought that it could fly
He raised its nose into the sky
And burned its rubber near a mile
Indeed to ride his way in style
A restless, lonely outsider
He was, of course, a HOG RIDER

Dieter Carlton is a well-known American artist whose works have won numerous top awards in top-rated art shows and venues throughout the U.S., as well as world-wide web art contests.
