SONGS OF KENTUCKY by Dieter Carlton

Where horses graze to run a race
A wild, yet friendly state to go
Where corn, tobacco, sorghum grow

With mountains, lakes and rivers too
Where Danial Boone made history
And young Abe Lincoln came to be
Where cloggers to a banjo dance
In tribute to a new romance
If only one could be so lucky
To hear the SONGS OF KENTUCKY
