This work is dedicated to my old army buddy Ken Bennett. He and I were pilots assigned to the 4th Squadron, 9th U.S. Cavalry, 6th Air Cavalry Combat Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas. Second is that navigation requires advanced knowledge of the target terrain or, a co-pilot who must quickly interpret terrain maps in flight and direct the pilot accordingly.
