Description
The Fellowship of Dogs by Dieter Carlton
A poem for which the artist wrote as follows ...
Hey, listen Jake, I don't know how
To tell you this right here and now.
Although it's rained for quite a spell,
It sure does wonders for that smell.
Well, Sam, the rains may do as such,
But really now you talk too much.
For how the rain does cool the day,
So too should you of things you say.
He turns, old Jake, to make a call,
For Joe, not far behind to fall.
So on a day for ducks and frogs,
Prevails THE FELLOWSHIP OF DOGS.
Artist's Challenge: This is an example of implicit characterization in art. Which one is Jake?
